It takes a village to raise a child.

Our Mission

At KCF, we aim to give children in rural Uganda a healthy start and a life safe from harm and deprivation. By providing shelter, food, medical care, education, vocational training, and - most importantly - guidance and support, we seek to empower these children and give them the opportunity to transform their own lives.

There is no trust more sacred than the one the world holds with children. There is no duty more important than ensuring that their rights are respected, that their welfare is protected, that their lives are free from fear and want and that they can grow up in peace.
— Kofi Anan

  • Undertaken substantial housing improvements to ensure the children live in a safe and healthy environment.

  • Hired 5 full-time local staff members to oversee day-to-day operations.

  • Installed solar paneling in all KCF buildings, both to support small-scale business activities and to provide the children with a place to study in the evenings.
